The lug to lug on the case between the GMT 126710 and the 41 Sub is the same basically. The 40 vs 41 measurement is actually 40.3 for the GMT so it gets rounded down to a 40mm, and the 41mm measurement on the sub is actually 40.6mm and rounded up to 41mm. I'm specifically holding out against buying a Sub for this very reason. Rolex needs to thin out the grandiose lugs and give the Submariner the same sort of case proportions that they seem to have mastered on the SD43.
