Tried on some other watches and made scratches disappear. Updates: In the end, my fren had it changed with the spare one at the ION boutique. It comes with a spare new plexiglass for you to have it changed if you find it bothering already with much scratches collected. 2nd it is more durable than sapphire crystals.
The plexi crystal just gives the dial more warmth. They do give you a replacement crystal if the original is scratched beyond repair. I have knicked mine and easily buffed out the scuff with toothpaste. One was pretty severe and you can't see anything. I am considering a PAM 372 with plexiglass. It comes with a spare glass and is in unworn condition (for 5k). Is the plexiglass problematic and/or expensive. Should I steer clear and look for an alternative model - although I love the colour combination of the 372. The Panerai Radiomir S.L.C. 3 Days PAM449 features a plexiglass crystal and comes with a spare replacement plexiglass crystal that must be installed by Panerai. Reflections on a watch crystal affect legibility. Harsh lighting or sunlight impedes time telling when watches are read at certain angles.
